Halloween. The hallowed day when witches and ghosts walk the earth; mingling with the black cats, the zombies, and of course, the reapers themselves. The day when even a lowly bumblebee can grab a litter picker and join in with the...wait...What!?
That’s right folks, CGI even managed to get the great Lady Liberty herself involved; and a cowboy took time out from his roaming to take part in what would be a day to be remembered by all.
In fact, the atmosphere was so contagious, that even the litter itself was mad with excitement, cheering on the ghosties and ghouls in their effort. Don’t believe me? Of course not!
How about now? And where were the witches I hear you ask? Well where else? Stirring up some tasty treats to be enjoyed by all!!
Of course, we had some nosy little monsters who found the witches stash of secret ingredients. And they just couldn’t resist having a feel to guess what was inside. Bet they didn’t feel so hungry once they discovered the truth!! *cough*rat*cough*
And as ever, someone escaped to go running madly around town, crushing children in furry loving hugs and panting with news of the happenings. Darn it, I knew I should have kept him on the lead...
Not only that, but while the park was receiving a well deserved autumn clean, our little creatures were solving mysteries of their own. I still don’t know all the secrets they discovered that day..
There was so much going on, I’m surprised anyone managed to keep track of anything. Finally though, the park was spotless (after someone had finally managed to chase down that hug-loving dog), everyone was full on the witches delicious recipes (except those who knew better and steered well away), and prizes and thanks were dished out aplenty. All that was left to do was to say ‘goodbye’s and ‘see you tonight’s (which were actually, quite terrifying when you realized who you were talking to).
OLD GALA PARK NEVER LOOKED LIKE THIS BEFORE!
The place emptied. Everyone who was left sighed and sank down to rest their weary feet. And then realized they still had to clean up the witches cooking mess. Which wasn’t such a great thought.
